What does flashing red LED mean?

In normal situation LED light on the front panel is green. The red flashing light means exception in the functioning of monitor. Here are few problems that you may have if LED is flashing red:
| Problem | Cause/solution |
| Signal clip (analog) | Check the sound source. Volume might be too high |
| Bit errors in the incoming AES/EBU digital audio | Check the sound source and cabling |
| Digital signal potential clip | Digital audio level too high, lower the volume level |
| No digital signal detected | Monitor is not receiving any digital signal |
