Should I use "symmetric EQ" or "individual EQ" with GLM?

With most monitoring setups using the default “Symmetrical EQ” is the recommended option.
Based on our extensive research, this is the best way to achieve flat frequency response without adversely affecting stereo imaging by any phase shifting caused by filtering. Above 300 Hz the same filters are applied for a stereo pair. This also includes any shelving filters. When the “Symmetric EQ” option is used with AutoCal2, individual parametric filters are nevertheless applied below 300 Hz and this further improves the system performance significantly as it enables unique acoustic challenges of the monitor location to be accounted for while maintaining the accurate stereo imaging.
