What is the difference between ‘personalised’ HRTFs and the ‘personal’ HRTF that Aural ID offers?

Personalised HRTFs tend to be more ‘general purpose’ and are usually created by using a generic
dummy head and torso simulator with some further adjustment to better suit the individual user. By
contrast, Aural ID is using a completely personal HRTF (i.e. your HRTF), which is exactly modelled on
your unique physical attributes, so provides a much more precise presentation of how you perceive
audio from any direction.
