We recommend that PoE+ standard IEEE 802.3at (30W) is supported in the switches for all outputs where loudspeakers are connected. To maximise performance, make sure that the switch has enough PoE capacity to allow full PoE+ power for each loudspeaker. The switch should have LLDP power negotiation protocol enabled. Smart IP loudspeakers can be operated with PoE (15W) power feed if needed. The loudspeakers always output the maximum amplifier power, but using a lower standard reduces the time of maintaining the output at maximum power.
