What do the 'GLM (fixed)' and 'Adjustable' settings mean for the 9320A?

These are settings tied to an active output on the 9320A. Either its Analog or Digital stereo output.

'GLM (fixed)' means volume commands are sent via the GLM Network cable. The 9320A output is fixed at full level.

'Adjustable' means level changes occur internally in the 9320A.

The instance where you should change the setting from 'Adjustable' to 'GLM (fixed)' is when the speakers connected to the 9320A output are also connected to the 9320A via the GLM Network.

Make sure to NOT use 'GLM (fixed)' if the 9320A is connected to non-SAM speakers. Otherwise they will receive the signal at full level and the volume control of the 9320A will not have an effect.
