The 9320A is a GLM device. GLM should be downloaded to ensure that the 9320A is up to date on its firmware, as well as for configuration of the device's settings. 

The 9320A has the functionality of a regular GLM Adapter. If you already own a GLM Adapter, it should be disconnected and replaced with the 9320A. The GLM Network is connected using the GLM port on the 9320A. Communication with the software works through the 9320A's USB connection to the computer. The included GLM microphone is plugged into the 9320A's microphone input for calibration of SAM Series monitors/ subwoofers. 

The 9320A works as a SAM monitor controller. The most important functions of GLM are a button press on the 9320A. Group selection, Mute, Dim, Preset level, and Bass Management on/off are all GLM functions which can be selected as physical buttons on the 9320A.
