I have bought some secondhand 8030B speakers. They sound great however they seem to need the sensitivity settings at 10o'clock and 2o'clock to balance is that okay / normal ?

Sounds abnormal to me.
If you swap left and right do the same speaker need to be at the same setting?
If you have a decibel meter you could check if the speakers output the same level on the same setting.
Thanks for your comment, I'll try swapping them over to see the effect.
Swapped the channels and the left speaker remains louder, not a critical problem as I can adjust the sensitivity to balance them, however it would have nice if they were the same. Thanks
Adjusted the levels in Windows 11 and that allows me to have the 8030B speaker set at the same level, maybe not the ideal solution but it works for me.
When the volume control is turned fully clockwise, the speaker will play at its maximum level, and both speakers should produce the same output level. If there is a significant difference in volume between the speakers, it may indicate a fault and the speaker(s) should be inspected by an authorized service center.
