All speakers offline.

Hi,

I have rebuild my stereo furniture and simultaneously added a second 7360 to the system and suddenly I cannot get GLM to stay online. GLM 5.2.0.

I have a pair of 8341 and two 7360 subwoofers. I added the second sub today after been playing successfully with one 7360 for some weeks. Once everything were wired together (digital XLR) I made a successful calibration and stored it to the speakers. The GRADE report shows all measurements, corrections and calibrated curves for all four units. I tried to play music while GLM was still routed via the computer. No sound, but all speakers were online. I disconnected the GLM from the computer and connected a USB for power. All units light up fine. But all speakers are now offline, hence still no sond. So, I shut all units off, I restarted the computer and I disconnected the GLM by unplugging the USB cable. As well as removed the DSP folder GLM5. Turned everything on but still all speakers are offline. Why? And how can I get the babies to sing again?

When reconnecting GLM to the computer, all speakers get back online, but I cannot hear any music when playing. When adjusting the Genelec 9310 volume knob I can see the dB is changing in GLM. This volume knob did work perfectly before I added the second 7360.

I have a Volumio Rivo + streamer and the signal is digital (AES/EBU). I set the input to "Digital" in GLM and did not use "Automatic". The streamer is on the same network as the units I use for streaming services (iPhone 15 with Tidal and Spotify).

Everything is the same as before with difference I added a RJ45 for GLM and a fourth XLR cable (of the same brand and length as the previous three ones).

Please, how to proceed?

The root cause of the non sounding system was due to a setup in my streamer, i.e. not related to the Genelec units nor GLM.
Once that was fixed the system now sings.
    Case closed.
