My studio specializes in video editing and concert music production for videos.
To fully utilize the precise bass attenuation capabilities of GLM Autocal, I customized the room acoustics to minimize bass cancellation.
Based on the Autocal2 tuning results, I used SCP to slightly reduce the high-frequency range to achieve a dead sound.
Since I primarily use Genelec speakers, other monitor speakers are generally unnecessary; however, I use the ADAM T5V as a secondary speaker.
The T5V is connected via the unbalanced DAC of the GRACE DESIGN m900 and has been tuned using the -2dB bass switch. This speaker is rarely used and serves mainly as a cross-check when unusual sounds are detected from the Genelec speakers.
In fact, the Genelec speakers alone provide sufficiently precise monitoring.
