9320A Turns On When Disconnecting From Thunderbolt Dock

I had my 9320A concocted to a Thunderbolt 4 dock, (USB-C to USB-C cable to a CalDigit TS4 — to a USB 3.2 Gen2 port), and whenever I disconnected my MacBook Pro (16" M3 Max; CalDigit short Thunderbolt 4 cable) — with everything off — the 9320A would turn my monitors (8330As) back on. They would also tend to turn back on when reconnecting my MacBook Pro to the dock. I usually would just hold down the Menu/Power button to turn things off (or use it to cycle power back on).

I recently changed my 9320A to be connected to my Apple Studio Display monitor (monitor connected through a Thunderbolt port on the dock; 9320A to same USB-C-to-USB-C cable to USB-C port on monitor), and now it stays off when I connect and disconnect my MacBook Pro.

I have the same problem. Every time I connect my 9320A (firmware 1.3.3) to my MacBook Pro 14 M3 Max, all of my Genelec 8331s turn on. It's the same when I unplug it, everything is on again. The same when I connect it through my Apple Studio Display or through the USB hub ... please fix it, because switching on is always annoying ...

Now with GLM 5.2 and update 9320A to firmware 1.5.2 it's the same. Genelec again does not listen to customer feedback. Unfortunately...

In my case, it's a 9320A connected to an Apple Studio Display; same behavior as the Thunderbold Dock in Erik's original post ... Same situation as when you connect 9320A directly to MaBook Pro USB-C.

Yes, I also switched to direct from my Apple Studio Display which is connected to my Thunderbolt dock. And at least it doesn't turn on when disconnecting my MacBook Pro, but, still it does turn on when I plug back in, even saw it recently after updating to GLM 5.2 and new FW 1.5.2.

I've also found that the GLMv5 app does occasionally crash and freeze up when I've disconnected and reconnected, I can tell as the right side LEDs on the 9320A don't fully light up (the Group presets)

Well, after re-configuring things (new power conditioner), it now turns on when disconnecting (connected to Apple Studio Display), but, I have found if I don't have the GLM app open on my MacBook it doesn't usually turn on when I replug into the Thunderbolt dock.

I do find it's an annoyance so just need to remember to turn it off when disconnecting my MacBook.

So, played around a bit more (using GLM 5.2.0) and I've found if you have just one USB-C connected (to power or PC link) it will turn on when you disconnect. But, I now have USB-C to my Apple Studio Display's USB outputs, and also plugged in the USB-C to a power adapter, and now when I disconnect from my Thunderbolt Dock (CalDigit TS4) they don't power back on.
