Hi, I wonder how I should connect the 11 speaker and the sub digitally when most interfaces only have 1 aes out which should only transfer 2 channels.

Hi Stefan! Indeed, there are almost no options from the consumer market. Professional studio interfaces from brands like DAD of course offer digital multichannel outputs. But in general, it's no problem at all to use the analog inputs, the conversion is done on professional studio level. Greetings!

I researched a lot over the weekend:
I want to connect 11 * 8341 and 1 * 7380 all digitally.
Now it’s not easy to get that many AES EBU outs.
My plan:
RME UFX III all 12 channels out via Madi optical
Madi optical into Appsys Flexiverter FLX-AES 3 with the Aux Madi OPTO extension card.
This is to convert Madi to AES
From there via Tascam Sub25 cable from FLX-AES3 into:
Genelec 9301a I guess I need 2 Sub 25 cables.
From there I can have bassmanagement for all 11 8341 speaker and connect: sub25 via breakout cable
To:
11 AES Inputs on 8341 and via lfe Channel 1 AES to 7380 sub.
Does that work?

I have a setup like this and i'm using the Motu 112d as interface in combination with Genelecs 9301b for Bass Management. the Motu has 3xDB25 (24 channels of I/O) with AES3 (and the possibility to connect external AD/DA via ADAT (24 channels in total) and MADI via Coax (so 56/64 channels). All the 12 atmos-channels go into the 9301B (via a db25<>db25 cable), which i'm using for the 7380 sub and the rest is for the other speakers. Works like a charm.
