Hi all,
I have two small 8020 monitors I use in my bedroom. I also have one spare 8250 lying around doing nothing. Would using the 8250 as a sub for the smaller 8020s be a worthwhile endeavor? Would this be possible using a LPF for the 8250, or could it be done within GLM software? I know this is a waste of an 8250, but it might be better than not using it at all.
Cheers, Leif.

Hi Leif! Sorry for the delayed response. The 8250s are not designed to be used like a subwoofer - so you will not have the needed high pass filter. Just one question: Why don't you use your 8250s as full range speakers ? ;-) Greetings!
Hi Marcel. I only have one spare 8250 and was thinking of how to incorporate it in my little 8020 stereo system.
Cheers, Leif,.
I see, sorry I missed the ONE ... ;-) The only way to do this would be an external device which offers the high pass-filtered signal for the 8020s, and a low pass-filtered signal for the 8250. Greetings!
Many thanks Marcel. I will probably just keep the 8250 in a box for when one of my used ones in the studio breaks down lol. However, they probably won't break for another 50 years. Cheers, Leif.
