Hi everyone:
If my memory doesnt fool me, the last time a contact Genelec Team, i ask about a very nasty cancelation i have around 120hz, in that oportunity the team answer telling me that GLM cant correct those freqs and to solve the problem the option is room theatement.
I comeback with the same problem, cause i just saw a tutorial in youtube from a genelec distributor, in wich they run GLM and the software also has that 120hz cancelation, but the calibration itselfs correct the problem, as you can see in the pictures.
Any thoughts on the subject are welcome.
All the best
Allan

Hi Allan! The screenshot from the video shows a boost at around 120 Hz which can be corrected. In your case there is indeed a notch - and you should try another placement (bring the speaker close to the front wall, try out a different height, try a slightly different listening position). Acoustical treatment can also help to reduce this issue. Greetings!
My problem its almost imposible to fix, i already did room acoustics (front and side panels), and i also try with the monitors close to the wall, and at differents distances from the wall and always i have that notch around 120hz.
Before room acustic i have more notches, but there is still one in both monitors around 120hz of -10db.
I guess my only solution is to buy a SUB
