Hello,
I am currently making a Dolby Atmos room, comprised of Genelec 8040s as 7.0.0 and the four 8030 on the ceiling.
I am also using the Genelec 8000-444 ceiling mounts, I am trying to horizontally mount the 8030s but I've hit a snag: the supplied T-plate does not seem to line up properly to fasten to the 8030c's. I am adding photos below of the:
- The ceiling mount,
- the supplied t-plate
- a screenshot for the ceiling mount installation manual
- and photo that shows how they do not line up.
Any help would be hugely appreciated,

Hello Antonis,
in this application the T-adapter plate is not needed, you can directly attach the 8x3x models to the ceiling mount.
