Does GLM apply phase correction for the loudspeakers?
Updated
Our monitors are already time-domain optimized out of the factory (i.e. they have a constant delay and symmetric impulse responses down low bass frequencies), so there's no need to equalize the time domain within GLM.
We compensate the room response using minimum phase filters. This avoids adding too much latency and pre-ringing problems when applying room equalization.
We compensate the times of flight for audio effectively, so you have a time-aligned system in the room with symmetric impulse responses.
If you're using a subwoofer with bass management, GLM will align the phase for the subwoofer. This is done in a 2nd step after the regular calibration and is part of the setup process.
