Yes, the original Aural ID worked in the same way and uses the same principles, but it was only
available as a SOFA format file, with no user-adjustable features. It also required a separate audio
rendering plug-in to enable DAW integration. Therefore, the Aural ID plug-in is much more flexible and
powerful than the original SOFA file-only Aural ID version.
