The microphone delivered with the GLM kit has been calibrated during manufacturing by Genelec, and the data used by AutoCal to compensate for the microphone off-axis response. No other microphone will work accurately in this system, which is why the 8300A Calibration Microphone is included in the GLM User Kit Package and each microphone needs to be identified by the serial number in GLM.
